 Hi there!

C7 Gi dojo/mynewgi.com was started in 2008 to help fellow Judo and Jiu Jitsu players.

We all want to feel comfortable and look sharp while we are beating the crap out of one another on the mat.  It seemed strange to me that quality gis were soo expensive...  The only affordable gis were junk...  Thin lapels that made it easy to choke.  Poor stiching and lame reinforcements that made cheap gis NOT cheap because they only lasted a couple of months...  Thin pants that ripped out.  WHY???

Well, after spending TONS of money and time buying and rolling in every gi made on earth...  I found a few that really stood out.  -Quality and affordability blended together.  I use all of the gis that I sell.  I am not some putz telling you this and that without 1st hand experience.  It is important that I represent and purvey solid gis that really work in the real world. 

If  you have mad money and want a lifetime gi -buy a Mizuno Yawara, Eurocomp or Isami.  They are simply the best.

If you have medium money -buy a Gameness, Vulkan, or Fuji.  They are as nice and as well made as Korals and Keiko Racas, but they are not 190 bucks.  And, if you care for them well; they will last you for many, many years.

If you want a cheapo gi -you are at the wrong site.

Getting the best, or close to it without paying an arm and a leg is a good feeling.  It's like sinking in a rear naked all the way and sleeping the guy you don't like at the gym.

So, train smart, fight smart and live smart!
